For more than 40 years, Guest House of Milwaukee has been empowering individuals to overcome the experience of homelessness, restoring dignity and bringing long-term stability to their lives.

Our history of being a leader in homelessness outreach, recovery, and prevention is rooted in our unwavering commitment to serving Milwaukee’s most at-risk and marginalized populations, and supporting individuals with even the most severe challenges to regaining, and maintaining, independence by:

  • Providing housing advocacy, stabilization, and placement services to individuals experiencing homelessness

  • Improving access to trauma-informed, responsive behavioral health services for program clients and individuals from neighboring communities

  • Increasing the recovery rate from drug and alcohol abuse among our client populations

  • Reducing the recurrence of multiple shelter stays for clients who have experienced either temporary or chronic homelessness

  • Equipping clients with the resources they need to set and achieve personal goals, increasing their likelihood of earning a living wage and securing permanent housing

We invite you to join us on November 9 as we bring civic, business, community, and philanthropic leaders together to advance Guest House of Milwaukee's mission to open Doorways to Dignity for more of our neighbors and fellow community members - now and into the future.
